How do we get started?
You can get started with a few easy clicks from our “Contact us" page. We've created a quick questionnaire, this information ensures you and your dog receive the quality training you deserve. Afterwards, one of our trainers will reach out to you within 24 hours to get you started with your dog training journey.

How many sessions do I need?
The amount of sessions you may need varies due to several factors. Such as, how many concerns/goals do you posses? How severe is the problem at hand? How long has your pup exhibited this behavior? The purpose of our initial consultation is to determine that timeframe specific to you and your pup. Sessions are an hour long unless specified otheriwse.

Is my pet too old to be trained?
It's never too old to teach an old dog new tricks. the main issue with training an older dog is that they may have spent possibly months to years learning the habit or behavior they're engaging in. It would be like asking someone

What can I expect?
After you fill out our questionnaire, we will reach out to schedule a session together. From there, we go to the homes of our clients. We will go over our lesson plan, train your pup, and supervise your application of the lesson as well. There is always time for questions along the way! Afterward, you'll receive handouts or notes via google doc.

Do we have to use treats to train a dog?
Treats are a huge part of training a dog early on in the process. I always tell people that nobody works for free! That doesn't mean that treats are the only reward that we can use to train a dog though. There are plenty of options such as: playing, Access to people, dogs, smells, exploration, exercise, and autonomy to do what they want (within reason).

How long does potty training take?
The factors involved in determing the timeline of a dog's potty training are: Size, Age, background, frequency of accidents, frequency of potty trips, the history of a dog, and truthfuly more than can be included in a blurb. Normal circumstances we typically see house trianing completed from a few months to a year.(sometimes more)

What is socialization & when to start?
Put plainly, socialization is the process of normalizing new experiences. By the time a puppy is 16 weeks, they would be equivalent to 2 or 3-year-old human; by which time one would expect them to have seen thousands of new sights, hundreds of new people, and dozens of new places. Now, imagine a 2–3-year-old child who has never interacted with another child, seen you interact with other adult, or even been outside. We stress the importance of getting your puppy out into the world a soon as possible so that they grow up having experienced as many new situations as possible. Should we punish Aggressive Behavior?
Even the most aggressive behaviors serve a purpose for communication. These behaviors will always find a way to manifest. Punishing these behavior will at best, Do nothing. At worst, Increase the aggression that we see from them. Instead of punishment, What we strive to do is to change the association that they feel towards what upsets them. - Rather than punish the symptoms, we strive to change the association that the dogs hold towards their trigger. There are many different types of aggression & not all aggressive behaviors constitute an aggressive dog.
